Donna Green, chief nurse at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, will talk about nursing in the NHS over the last 70 years on Tuesday 8th May, at Peaches Restaurant, Andover War Memorial Hospital.
As the NHS celebrates its landmark 70th birthday this year, the talk will take place in the lead up to International Nurses Day and reflect on how nursing has vastly evolved but with the fundamentals of care, dedication and compassion remaining the same.
The talk is free and is run by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT). Anyone can become a member of HHFT, by filling in a simple form on the website www.hampshirehospitals.nhs.uk or by picking up a leaflet at one of the Trust’s three hospitals in Andover, Basingstoke or Winchester. You can also come along to the talk and sign up on the day.
If you would like to find out more about becoming a member of HHFT, or information about future meetings, visit our website www.hampshirehospitals.nhs.uk/membership.
